Prison Ministries

Micah 6:8
“What does God require of you but to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with your God”
Our Conference Committee focuses on the following areas:
  • Support groups for families of the incarcerated
  • Mentoring for returning citizens to society
  • Keryx ministry (similar to an Emmaus Walk but for inmates)
  • County jail ministry
  • Restorative justice (victims rights and mediation before incarceration)
  • Camp New Day (for children of incarcerated parents) with money for “camperships”
We are a resouce for local churches to become involved in:
  • sessions to educate and train key leaders in how to reach out to families of the incarcerated and provide training, supervision and support for church members interested in mentoring a returning citizen.
  • Providing transportation to church services for returning citizens
  • Angel Tree Ministry
  • The prison population and the challenges returning citizens face i.e. clothing, food, gas cards, public transportation, job search,
  • Keryx ministries
